Blank magnetic tiles are just squares. Stack a few together and you have walls. Add a storefront awning, a street lamp, a park bench out front. Now you have a town. Add a flower stand, a toy shop, a bakery sign, a fountain in the square. Now people want to visit.
Town Center is 55 reusable fabric decals across two sheets, covering everything a downtown needs to feel like one. There are street lamps, park benches, picnic tables, a town clock, a fountain, potted trees, and a full set of road signs — stop signs, yield, parking, bus stop, bike lane, and crosswalk. For the shops there are storefronts with awnings, a produce market, a flower stand, a clothing rack, a toy store display, a bakery case, a butcher window, and a bookshop. Plus business signs for a cafe, grocery, boutique, pizzeria, meat shop, and zoo. Works with Magna-Tiles, Picasso Tiles, and most other 3-inch magnetic tile sets. Enough to build a whole downtown if you have enough tiles.
Kids pick a tile, pick a decal, and start placing. Some build the park first and work outward toward the shops. Some line up the storefronts and decide who owns each one. Some combine Town Center with Welcome Home and School to build an entire neighborhood. All of that is fine. That's the point. Works for kids ages 4 and up, solo or alongside a sibling.
Bryan's Note: "This one works best when you already have Welcome Home and School. Suddenly there's somewhere to go after school and somewhere to walk the dog."
